Elyse Busby Shatters the Myth!
Some Barrel Racers feel that you stand a better chance of winning if you run as close to the end of the race as possible. Elyse proves the myth to be only a myth.
Elyse started the week-end off Entry #1 in the Friday Section. At the end of the race, Sunday evening, Elyse Busby finished as Rider #1 with a 15.082!
Congratulations Elyse, that was one heck of a run!!!

Ground does make a difference, that's why we have the top of the line equipment. If you check out the results, you will find that the 1D winners come from all 3 sections.
You may want to check out one more thing. The payoff. Today, we visited with two individuals. One was Jeff Busby, the father of Elyse Busby, he asked "How may entries did you end up getting? We answered "644", he said, "Well that paid as much as a race we recently went to and the fees were way more than $55". The other individual said, "I hope you figured right, $992 is sure a lot for 4th place on a $55 entry".
We had about a 20% increase over last January's Race with a lot of new faces. We're expecting March's Race to be our largest yet.
